HR Compliance Specialist | 40k-60k DOE | Camarillo, CA
HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for the verification of all compliance processes related to the administration of Human Resources, Leaves of absences, and Benefits. The HR Compliance Specialist will review and recommend revisions to applicable policies to ensure compliance with local, federal and state laws and regulations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Review all new hires and terminations for accurate processing
Assist with data entry when needed
Guarantee compliance with local, federal, and state laws for field hiring processes
Analyze hiring trends and produce retention reports on a weekly basis
Maintain electronic filing system in the correct condition for use
Review and or assist with timely completion of EDD notices
Assist with LOA program and review compliance
Complete I9 audit yearly or as needed
Administration of COBRA
Review enrollments and terminations for all benefit programs
Coordinate health deductions with payroll
Review and reconcile monthly benefit invoices
Ensures compliance with the Affordable Care Act; assist with annual 1095C forms
Ensure mail is delivered and received in a timely manner
Substitute for absent employees in Human Resources administration or benefits.
Special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Human Resources, or Business Management.
3-5 years in Human Resources. Experience in the agricultural industry preferred but not required.
Must speak, read, write in English and Spanish
Monday - Friday 8-5
Occasional Saturdays 8-noon
