Develop, implement, manage and integrate a Quality Management System (QMS).
Manage the department budget to ensure proper allocation of resources for the production of safe, high-quality products.
Work with inspectors regarding pest control both internal and external.
Teach and train employees in chemical testing and how to use the equipment.
Monitor anaerobic digester through periodic testing and record keeping.
Design implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
Accompany regulatory auditors during inspections and draft a corrective action plan for any deficiencies.
Manage Hold and Release program.
Consistently review and update the food safety program.
Act as the recall coordinator.
Perform mock recalls
Work with plant manager and operations manager to make improvements.
Perform daily checks to monitor plant practices to avoid contamination.
Review and maintain supplier approval documentation.
Submit monthly waste water reports to the county offices.
Collect samples and develop reports in conjunction with the lab.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Present training programs for employees, including GMP, HACCP, and food safety.
Act as representative on the HACCP Team.
