Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Strictly enforce Company Safety Policy, to ensure safe operations in Quality Assurance and related areas.

  • Providing full technical support.

  • Supporting and executing all company policies, procedures and Guidelines.

  • Documenting existing QA programs and develop/implement new QA programs so that overall product quality id assured.

  • Reviewing and signing new and modified drawings, Inspection plans and other documents. Using a computer, generating inspections planning for three areas, receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection.

  • Statistical Process Control duties include: Formalizing a training program, training appropriate personnel, implementing SPC where directed and monitoring SPC date. Generating appropriate graphs, charts and tables as needed. Analysis and findings/trends report creation.

  • Help to maintain the current ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems through internal audits, maintaining the current systems.

  • Function as reference and trainer for mechanical part inspection methodology.

  • Perform failure analysis and report on customer returns. Investigate customer concerns and provide appropriate feedback.

Minimum Qualification:

  • A or B.S. degree in applicable field (Engineering, Quality, Etc.) or 6 Years of related experience as Quality Engineer in any combination of the following area:

  • Two or more years of related experience as Quality, Process, manufacturing Technician

  • Two or more years in Quality or R&D Lab

  • Two or more years in with direct experience of Metrology, GD&T and print reading.

  • Direct knowledge and experience with ISO 9001 System and Internal Audit.

  • Strong knowledge, discipline and experience in problem solving using the following methods:

  • 8D, corrective action Reports, A3, Fishbone Diagram, 5-way, Fault Tree Diagram.

Preferred Qualification:

  • GD&T in metrology and inspection (Calipers, Micrometers, Comparators, GD&T) specially in the areas of ASTM, ASTME, JIS tubing & piping is Highly Preferable.

  • ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt) Preferred.

  • Tow or more years direct experience in metrology, GD&T and print reading a plus.

  • Previous exposure, training and participation in Lean (TPS) environment a Plus. Any experience in Kaizens and Value Stream Mapping is a plus.

  • Experience in Semiconductor industry a plus.
