Hourly Rate : $25-$30
Shift Hours : 8am to 4:30pm
Ensure all laboratory (SEM, ESCA, AES, and related tests) and QCIP work is performed on-time and with required efficiency. Inspection planning duties relating to receiving inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection to include the following: review and sign new and modified DCN drawings, Inspection Plans (QCIPs), and other documents. Coordinate all material analysis outsourcing activities with third-party outside lab(s) for VC (may assist VK and VPRC as well), which consist of quoting, sample preparation, sample tracking, report analysis, report filing, and creating custom reports as required and directed. Recommend the acquisition of quality-related equipment and coordinate the procurement, installation, and training of such. Assist other departments with the service, repair, and/or replacement of their equipment as needed. Assist in the Corrective Action Requests (CARs) process. Assist in the maintenance of our calibration system, including identification, calibration, and certification inspection and test equipment in accordance with ANSI 1456. Perform weld tests as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Two years' related experience as a Quality, Process, and/or Manufacturing Technician required.
Two years' experience in a Quality or Research and Development laboratory a plus.
Two years' experience with metrology, GD&T, and print reading a plus.
BA or BS Degree in applicable field (Engineering, Quality, etc.) a plus.
