Responsibilities

The Junior Customer Service representative will work alongside the Senior Customer Service Representatives to assist the customers by informing, educating, offering options; quoting, taking orders either verbally or in written form, assist with expediting orders, process returns and resolving customer complaints.  Their responsibility is also to assist the Outside Sales representatives with requirements needed to provide customers with exceptional products and service. Additionally they will perform clerical tasks such as routing phone calls, filing and compiling of information for reports.

Each Junior Customer Service representative shall take “ownership” of the tasks assigned, be clear in their communication, handle requests through the customers’ choice of medium, personalize the service and escalate any problems or complaints, if required, to the appropriate management.

Strong Customer Service skills, including the ability to remain flexible and calm in high pressure or continually changing situations.

Ability to assimilate technical information

 

 

Requirements

 

High School diploma or equivalent

 

1-2 years experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

 

Excellent Math and Reading skills

 

Proficient on Microsoft Office applications (strong Excel) and an ERP system (Syteline preferred)

 

Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or health care markets a plus

 

Bilingual a plus
