Advanced skills in Excel, accurate with data entry.
1) Entering new parts into ERP system, this will include creating internal part number, getting all of the associated information either from the requestor or vendor i.e. pricing (cost and list), package qtys, minimum order qtys, standard lead times, etc.
2) Updating the system with current pricing and this will be a big job since 1/1/17 will start all new pricing for the majority of 5000 parts already in the system from vendors – this is also where the advanced Excel skills will be extremely helpful since system used integrates with Excel so some uploading and downloading to the system will be able to be done. Once this is completed they will maintain when and if changes occur throughout the year.
3)Will be doing the purchase orders for Gamma (sterilization) shipments, LAL and other testing services. Will be coordinating with Production Supervisor, Planners and Shipping personnel.
4) Will be issuing the material to the JOBS within our ERP system and closing JOBS where necessary, verifying that the proper lots and qtys from the Batch Records and Pick Lists, investigating and resolving and issues or discrepancies with the materials being issued. (Will train and assist candidate to be the backup person) Will be coordinating with the Material Handlers, Receiving and possibly even Cleanroom and Fabrication personnel to resolve the documentation discrepancies.
The above are the key duties/responsibilities but there will be others as we pilot and finally go live with our APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) module of our ERP system.
