Position Description & Primary job duties:
The marketing of our products and services to medical professionals, dealers, distributors and clients.
As a Marketing Director you will be responsible for developing business securing new business and maintaining current clients.
Liaison between independent broker and dealer representatives’ medical professionals, clients, managers and staff. You will be responsible to assist in other facets of developing business, which include trade shows, product development and special projects as assigned.
Secure new business and maintain current clients you will be following up on leads and mailings, sending correspondence, contacting existing accounts and answering telephone inquiries. You will also be promoting new business through the direct contact of prospective clients, outside sales reps and professionals informing them of product information, promotional activities, merchandising tools and pricing.
As part of this follow up you will ensure that support materials, promotional documents, samples, credit applications and other information as required is delivered to prospective clients or reps in a timely manner. You will always be expected to ensure that exceptional service levels are maintained.
Provide product information, support documentation and samples on an as needed basis to Dealers, Distributors and their representatives. You will assist in the order taking procedure to guarantee all orders are executed properly and in a timely manner.
Work with medical professional, pharmacies and educators to inform them of product information, promotions and provide support materials and samples as necessary to encourage sales.
Assist with all activities that pertain to the success of sales growth and to the marketing of products and services. These activities include but are not limited to: preparing items for trade shows, assisting with product development, coordinating special projects following up on projects, mailings, local fairs and events etc.
As a Marketing Director, you must have good communication skills and can correspond effectively in both verbal and written form. You must be able to positively interface with outside representatives, medical professionals, clients and end users.
The marketing of products and services requires that you be strongly motivated to provide quality customer service. To effectively maintain client relationship, you will be processing order requests, mailing samples and providing product information, which will require you to have good basic organize assignments and work within timelines. You should have basic computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Word.
An effective marketing and sales plan requires the efforts of a team. You will need to be a team player and be willing to participate in all facets of the department. You must also effectively interact with sales
