Overview: Represents the Company in the procurement and administration of contracts for goods and services. Provides interpretation of contract provisions, screens and processes customer inquiries to ensure prompt handling and monitors progress of work performed under the contract and prepares periodic reports and estimates of completion dates.

Responsibilities: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Processes orders.

2. Acts as a liaison between the Company and customers.

3. Processes customer orders.

4. Resolves customer issues.

5. Additional responsibilities and projects, as assigned.

6. Must comply with all company policies, procedures and safety rules.

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

BA or BS Degree

Minimum 5 years experience in Contracts Department, preferably in the aerospace field

Computer literate in MS Office

Ability to read contracts/documents

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to interface and communicate with customers

Good math skills

Good problem solving skills required

Must be detail oriented and have the ability to perform multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions

Aerospace contract and Business law experience a plus

Attendance Requirements:

Ability to work a 5/40 work week, maintain regular attendance and be available to work overtime, if needed

*Lifting - Must be able to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds

Working Environment: Office environment, however, occasionally needs to perform duties in a manufacturing environment and be able to wear personal protective equipment in accordance with IIPP-B01.
